We are seeking additional working board members and committee leaders who want to preserve Mexican culture and build an organization capable of serving families for generations.

Governance and professional strengths *
Initial expression of interest. This is not an appointment, background check or confidential board questionnaire. Sensitive screening and governance records move to a controlled channel after initial contact.

A board seat is a working assignment.

Board members are expected to prepare for meetings, read the material, ask direct questions, disclose conflicts, complete assigned work and follow through between meetings. The title is not the contribution. The work is.

Useful experience includes finance, nonprofit governance, education, arts administration, fundraising, communications, law, facilities, events and community partnerships. The organization also needs people willing to learn what they do not already know.
