Randall Stone’s professional life has moved among finance, economics, taxation, real estate, teaching and public service. He earned bachelor’s degrees in Business Administration–Finance and Economics from California State University, Chico and later completed a Master of Public Administration with Distinction.
His professional work includes financial planning, tax practice, real estate brokerage and development, public finance and teaching real estate finance. He served on the Chico City Council from 2012 to 2020 and as mayor from 2018 to 2020.
Outside those titles, the recurring interests are systems and field work: transportation, accessibility, affordable housing, community organizations, radio communications, outdoor travel, athletics and the practical details people discover only after leaving the conference table.
